Things Aren't Speeding Up. You're Just More Distracted

Every generation thinks theirs moves faster than the generation which precedes it. 

And maybe it is. Speeding up, that is. 

Maybe though things are not speeding up. Maybe we’re just more distracted. 

Even our distractions are distracting. Distracted by this, if you’re reading it, which you are. If not this, then your email, your coffee, facebook, twitter, linkedin.  

Flitting, jumping from one thing to the next, is tiring. 

Things aren’t speeding up. You just need a rest.
